ABOUT LCYC

Leadership Character Youth Coalition (LCYC)

provides research-based, age-specific development tools and content and expert consulting to youth-engaging organizations. We put special emphasis on the character-building impact of these organizations to equip today's youth to better lead tomorrow.

Our mission is to empower children, mentors, and youth-serving organizations to model and promote leadership character (integrity, respect, and responsibility) throughout the communities they touch.

Our Mission.

Our Vision.

Our vision is to make LCYC the most reliable, research-based source for youth-facing organizations that need leadership character development tools and resources to cultivate the youth they serve. Your support can be the spark that fuels the motivations and minds of children, teens and young adults — empowering them to contribute to, and soon lead, their communities in countless positive ways.

We know how to equip today's youth with integrity and authenticity so they can face any challenge or opportunity.

Integrity | in·teg·ri·ty | \ in-ˈte-grə-tē  \
1: firm adherence to a code of especially moral or artistic values : INCORRUPTIBILITY

We are adapting proven programming — from a successful adult leadership character model of
30 years by our partner, the Turknett Leadership Group — to create a research-based model for today's youth. All of our age-specific youth development tools and resources will be research-based and data-driven to achieve the most meaningful and sincere impact.

Our History.

LCYC Leadership Character scale

LCYC was founded in 2022 by Turknett Leadership Group (TLG). For more than 25 years, TLG has provided adults with comprehensive and individualized executive coaching programs that have improved performance and leadership behaviors, enhanced careers, prevented derailment, and helped companies work through organizational issues or change initiatives.

Partners.

LCYC partners with youth-engaging community organizations (e.g. nonprofits, schools, parent organizations and other character-building facilitators) to create a ripple effect of change among its members.
